so before kids and photography, I was a geography teacher (yep.. always loved maps and traveling). And before that gig, I double majored in History and Literature at LSU. So you can understand a little better about my love affair with Europe even before I hit the lottery in living here! The Cluny Museum in Paris has been on my wish list for some time now.. the collection of Medieval art, tapestries, statues, stained glass, etc.. are housed in a townhouse for the abotts of Cluny circa 1330. The site was built on the ruins of some 3rd c. Roman baths, making it that much more special. On one of my girl trips to Paris, my friends flew out early Sunday morning and I treated myself to a long run and a visit to the Cluny. While I don't have any photos to show you from my run (I think you can forgive me not lugging around my 10lb camera with me!?), I do have a sneak peek of the museum to share. Enjoy!
