the perfect day trip: with the chicas in Venice

I was able to hop along with a fun group of gals from the kids' school to their annual trip to Venice for the day. It was a whirlwind, which included about an hour car ride, flight and bus ride... but by 10am when that sun was hitting our shoulders and sunglasses on, we were in heaven!! Good food, warm Italians, great friends, shopping and vino.. the PERFECT day trip from Brussels! Thanks, ladies, for a fantastic time!
